Functionality ideas
I put in my target weights and reps before heading to the gym, so perhaps having input workout vs start workout functions would be neat. Once you start workout, any time you click next set or next exercise will change the color of the set to signify its done. When I was lifting today sometimes it would jump to another set by accident I guess by random screen touching. Having a noise when your rest timer is up would be good. A function for including automatic warm up sets when designing routines would be cool:
warm up sets:
% of working set for each: #, #, #
Keep up the good work!

The ability to copy and modify workouts within a routine.

One way would be when you add a workout and enter member of sets and reps, add more fields for warmup sets and reps then just add that many with a reduced percent of the previous achieved weight during the workout.

I also need the warmup sets, basically like the stronglift 5x5 app, just put a button after the work set to or edit the warmup
Sets in routine with %of work sets. I think that the only missing part to starting working out with this app from start to end. -

I agree, I only want to enter my weight and reps while at the gym, not my workout. The workout needs to be entered before I go.

yes, warm-up sets are needed. pre-calculated for me is not necessary. might be helpful though. as long as they can be edited!

Thanks for all the comments... I think I have a better idea of how you guys are trying to use the app. It's really interesting to see the different ways people track their workouts!
LiftRep was initially designed around an "input as you work out" model, rather than an "input in advance" model. Although the pre-filled sets/reps feature in the last release does make things a bit easier, I'm going to sit back and think about this a bit more rather than rush into trying to shoe-horn some changes into the design right away...

I do the same; my main complaint at this point is that logging a set is too complex. I've already entered my workout before heading to the gym (or during warmup); while I appreciate being able to see everything at once, during each exercise I really only want to see the exercise I'm working on and have a very simple (one/two click) means of recording a completed set; failing or changing the set can certainly take more clicks.
The recent update simplified this somewhat, but the flow is still confusing and seems to jump around a bit.

I like the calculated warm-up rep idea a lot. Rounded to the nearest 5 or 2.5 lbs.
